Job Summary
As the Global Services Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) initiatives, along with select digital and legacy programs within the Global Services organization.
This role requires a strategic, process-oriented leader who partners cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Regional Service teams across Business Units and Product Lines. You will serve as the central point of coordination for service-related deliverables throughout the NPDI lifecycle-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable business impact.
You will also collaborate closely with Vertiv Operating System (VOS) teams to support business process improvement initiatives, driving consistency, scalability, and efficiency across global service processes. Success in this role requires strong project management discipline, comfort navigating complexity, and the ability to lead through influence and obtain business buy-in across a global matrix organization.
Responsibilities
Project & Program Leadership
  • Utilize PMO governance frameworks to plan, manage, and deliver NPDI and digital services projects.
  • Drive execution through a defined stage-gate process, from concept and feasibility through readiness and launch.
  • Manage global schedules, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure service requirements-including readiness, cost modeling, training, and enablement-are integrated and validated prior to launch.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Act as the Global Services representative on NPDI core teams, ensuring alignment across Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Services.
  • Partner with regional Services teams to capture feedback, identify risks, and ensure deployment readiness reflects real-world execution needs.
  • Interface with VOS and Business Process Improvement teams to align on governance and process enhancements.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, dashboards, and executive-level status reports.

Business Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to standardize PMO processes and tools to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Drive improvements to frameworks supporting NPDI and Global Services integration.
  • Support adoption of digital tools for project tracking, readiness, and enablement.
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives that strengthen global alignment and continuous improvement.

Data & Governance
  • Use Power BI and PMO tools to monitor project health, prioritize work, and manage the NPDI portfolio.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs related to schedule, cost, readiness, and delivery performance.
  • Contribute to lessons-learned reviews and ongoing refinement of PMO governance and documentation.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of experience in Project Management or PMO roles, preferably within a global matrix organization.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects in product or service development environments (NPDI preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and geographies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI and PM tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CSM, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or service enablement initiatives.
  • Advanced experience with ERP financial applications (Oracle preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.

Travel Requirements
  • Up to 10-15% international travel, based on project needs and global coordination requirements.
