Job Summary

Works independently. Support Supply Chain, Procurement, and Fleet Operations (SCPFO) systems and technology. Identify research and resolve data, system and business integrity issues. Collaborate with SCPFO personnel, its customers, business units, and cross-functional teams to test and support SCPFO applications. Assist with the development of procedures, quick reference guides and presentations to communicate system functionality, issues, and resolutions. Gather and analyze data for use in business cases and cost justifications.
SAP Ariba application (Business Network, Guided Buying, Guided Sourcing,
and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance - SLP) implementation and functional
support experience is a must.
Experience onboarding and enabling suppliers across the Ariba Network is a must.
Strong understanding of the Source to Pay and Supplier Lifecycle process is a must.
EDI support and supplier onboarding is preferred.
Ariba Network/EDI to ERP integration support experience is preferred.
ServiceNow and Jira experience is a plus.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills to communicate to business
unit personnel in advance of any changes to application functionality, systems status and outage schedules.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead SCPFO personnel, its customers, business units, and cross-functional teams in the development, testing, implementation, and support of SAP Ariba applications.

  • Provide strategic direction on the expansion and adoption of electronic commerce functionality and other forms of technology.

  • Provide an expert level of knowledge of current system technologies, processes, and initiatives; lead project teams to implement and promote the most efficient use of new SCPFO technologies.

  • Lead the establishment of best practices, internal controls, and policies and procedures.

  • Guide the development and analysis of advanced report data queries associated with resolving data, system and business process integrity issues.

  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding data sources, table joins, and others advanced aspects of report development.

  • Lead the development of advanced-level test scripts to support the application production migration process.

  • Provide strategic direction in the development of policies, procedures, quick reference guides, and other documentation.

  • Lead the development of system specifications, business cases and cost justifications to maximize SCPFO use of emerging technologies.

  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations on ongoing and emerging technological topics and issues.

  • Understand and effectively influence processes and technologies of the organization and its stakeholders and act as a subject matter expert regarding policies, systems, processes, and regulations of the company.

  • Mentor and lead assigned work activities of others within the work group, team or department.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study such as Accounting or Business Administration;

(Or) Associate's degree with 2 years systems support experience involving programming, coding, SQL querying or advanced reporting requiring complex table joins and multiple data sources;

(Or) High school diploma/GED with 4 years systems support experience involving programming, coding, SQL querying or advanced reporting requiring complex table joins and multiple data sources.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years systems support related experience (in addition to any experience identified above).

  • Have an expert level of knowledge of SCPFO-related systems and technology.

  • Maintain technical industry knowledge, an advanced level of understanding of AEP regulatory/legal/financial policies and controls and business unit processes and procedures.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, identify stakeholders, and network with internal and external organizations.
