In partnership, and under the direction of the MD Event Manager, the MD Event Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the medical/bioskills education and lab training, and maximizing the profitability of the Oquendo Center. In addition, the MD Event Supervisor is responsible for managing the bioskills technician team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first attitude is essential. The MD Event Supervisor must problem solve, remain flexible, act independently, and use good judgment and critical thinking skills when coordinating clients’ needs.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirements
· Three to Five (3-5) years’ relevant experience in a management role
· Bachelor degree preferred
· Continuous focus on quality improvement and enhanced techniques
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
· Flexibility to travel for business needs as necessary
· Previous experience in medical/lab administration and/or coordination is preferred.
· Knowledge and intermediate ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Suite and other related software.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
· Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
· Analytical and mathematical skills are required.
· Must be organized, multi-tasker, and able to manage different priorities and time.
· Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
· Effective time management, organization, and leadership skills
OTHER POSITION DETAILS
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with business needs. This position is likely to work hours in excess of 40 per week, as well as occasional weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements and Qualifications
The daily duties of this position are not physically demanding however, the position does require sitting, standing, walking, use of fingers and hands, stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting.
