POSITION SUMMARY: This insurance call center position in our North Dallas office (just north of the intersection of the 635 and N. Dallas Parkway) answers incoming calls from borrowers, or agents on behalf of the borrower, regarding the status of the insurance securing their loan. In addition, this position makes outbound calls to secure documentation that may be required.
This is a full-time, regular non-exempt position.
Call Center Rep Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned :
Handle back to back inbound and outbound calls from/to borrowers, insurance companies, agents and lenders
Verify account information, identify customer’s needs, provide answer or research issue and provide follow-up, notate loan.
Review and process insurance research items as needed
Key (apply) insurance information obtained from borrowers, insurance companies, agents and lenders
Take ownership of assigned lenders and meet daily production goals
Work in a fast paced production environment while meeting quality goals
Call Center Rep Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience
Minimum one year call center experience required
Prior mortgage experience or insurance experience is preferred
Available to work a 40 hour work week: Monday – Friday ( some overtime may be required M-F between 7:00 am – 8:00 am, including Saturday 7:00 am to 12:00 noon if needed )
Bilingual/Spanish a plus
Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm (adjusted speed) with 10 key skills (typing test provided at interview)
Reliable attendance and punctuality is a must
The ability to multitask: key/apply verbal information directly into the loan screen while talking with the borrowers, insurance companies, agents and lenders
