Position Summary:
Due to our continued success we are currently seeking to add to our team a Senior Process Architect. We provide support to the network and communications infrastructure for all DoD communications. They are establishing a Program Management Office (PMO) within their Mission Assurance organization to oversee the service assurance, situational awareness and process/governance support for the delivery of IT services across the Agency. The PMO will interact with the other organizations within the Agency to ensure the requirements definitions, development, and implementation of the IT service delivery capabilities are synchronized across the Agency.
Position Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be one of the process architects of our team in the support of the Mission Assurance organization by supporting the development of the continual process improvement and governance support framework for the customer. This will include planning and architecting the frames, and will be conducted in conjunction with the customer team to ensure its successful implementation. You will assess the ability to collapse the tools and capabilities to identify common processes with the Agency to ensure that the Mission Assurance governance structure meets the objectives of the Agency as a whole. In addition, you will conduct an assessment of the computing services organization to decompose their services to recommend potential expansion and implementation of those services on an enterprise-wide basis.
Also providing the government with ITIL industry-leading experience to ensure all of the processes being implemented truly align to our customer’s mission and ultimately provide value in terms of speed of delivery, service availability, and cost effectiveness. This will ensure the delivery of consistent support to our customer and will effectively communicate that value Agency-wide through process standardization.
In support of the Mission Assurance organization, your duties will be to develop detailed computing services, process improvement, and governance requirements and evaluate the best practices of the Agency to ensure the requirements gathered are sufficiently detailed to develop the governance road map. You will also conduct the gap analysis of both the Mission Assurance and computing services organizations to enable the development of the enterprise services optimization recommendations and overall road map for process improvement and governance implementation across the Agency.
Position Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience with ITIL business process reformation efforts and project management
  • 5 to 7 years experience in continuous process improvement methodologies including ITIL, business process re-engineering, and/or quality management initiatives
  • Experience working with process reformation teams
  • Experience facilitating quality improvement efforts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good team skills
  • Good independent work skills (accomplish objectives with minimal supervision)
Desired Skills:
  • ITIL V3 Foundation certification required
  • Process Architecture skills a plus
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance

Desired education, certifications, skills, experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems)
