The objective of a Which Wich? Shift Lead is to supervise fellow Team Members in making superior sandwiches in a clean, friendly and vibacious environment while delivering excellent guest service.

Job Responsibilities:

Guest Service

Demonstrate Superior Service by providing "Service with Vibe".

Demonstrate the 10 Points of Superior Service:

1. Commitment to our Guests

2. Be the ambassador of the "Vibe" and the Brand – Lead by example

3. Respect and courtesy

4. Presenting a clean and polished image through our attire

5. Ambassador of Standards

6. Professionalism

7. Efficiency

8. No problem is too small - Never say No

9. Handle Guest complaints professionally

10. Maintain property and equipment to ensure Guests have a safe and superior dining experience

Our Team

It is also the responsibility of each team member to support a culture of team work and respect. All Team Members are required to demonstrate the following qualities:

Honesty & Reliability
  • Be truthful and honest with fellow Team Members, Management and our Guests
  • Always arrive on time and ready for work in clean uniform
  • Always follow Company policies and procedures
  • As a Shift Lead, be reliable and consistent in performing supervisory duties
  • Work until a task is completed, never leave a task unfinished
  • Work at a fast pace to ensure our Guests expectations are met
  • Work smart to be able to effectively juggle multiple tasks
  • Direct fellow Team Members in the efficient and effective performance of assigned duties
Friendly & Enthusiastic
  • Interact with Guests and maintain an upbeat attitude at all times
  • Communicate with Guests and fellow Team Members in a friendly, outgoing way
  • When coaching Team Members, use positive reinforcement for tasks done correctly and effectively; when Team Members need coaching & guidance, demonstrate correct behaviors and be helpful and encouraging as they practice their skills
Service Minded
  • Work in a friendly and attentive manner
  • Coach and supervise fellow team members in a positive, constructive manner
  • Treat all Team Members with courtesy and respect
  • Be communicative and work collaboratively with Managers
  • Seek opportunities to make for a more safe, efficient and friendly environment


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year food service experience with minimum of 6 months demonstrated supervisory responsibility
  • Must possess basic math skills
  • Must have basic computer skills and fundamentals
  • Must read, communicate and understand English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
  • Must be able to effectively follow and give directions
  • Must be able to effectively delegate and supervise work among Team Members to ensure shifts run smoothly and all assigned tasks are completed
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to perform the basic functions of the job

• Must be able to work shifts up to 8hrs a day

• Must have full use of both hands (lifting, carrying, grasping, pushing, pulling)

• Must be able to firmly grasp utensils to include but not limited to knives, mops, brooms, etc.

• Must be able to tolerate temperature extremes (hot and cold) when working in walk-in and around ovens and sinks

• Standing, bending and walking for extended periods of time on hard surface

• Must be able to bend and stoop to lift and move boxes, sweep and mop

• Must be able to lift over head up to 15lbs

• Lifting up 15 lbs frequently, 25lbs occasionally
