Walmart Lab's mission is simple: to innovate on retail with new technologies, to revolutionize how Walmart approaches digital commerce, and to deliver with speed and agility.

We are looking for a hands-on, strategic, results-oriented Group Product Manager to lead our Walmart Mexico, On Demand Product Management team (based in Sunnyvale). You will drive Products across web, app and call center to create world-class omni-channel experience for our customers, enabling them to save money and time so they can live better.

  • A product leader with ecommerce instincts, business acumen, analytical skills and judgment.

  • Your cadence is a perfect match for the fast pace of Walmart Labs. You’re comfortable getting into the details to deliver a great experience, and you think about long-term product and business strategy for our eCommerce and Retail assets.

  • You welcome the opportunity to analyze data, talk to users, build the roadmap, and deliver products and features.

  • You are a strong collaborator across functions, including Engineering, UX, Operations, Supply-chain, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, etc.

  • You are excited to become a global leader within our organization: drive execution with our Product and Engineering teams in Sunnyvale & Bangalore and develop deep relationships with our Operating teams in Mexico City. International travel is inherent requirement with this role, at least 25% of the time.

  • You are a leader with vision. Your eCommerce acumen, shopper empathy, and technical depth carry weight when working across business units in the organization.

As a Group Product Manager, you will

  • Be a true Product Owner – developing product vision, strategy and roadmap for the platform and your team

  • Recruit, develop and manage a team of product managers accountable for delivering on the product vision

  • Become a domain expert, deeply understanding Walmart’s systems and the online retail landscape to solve real problems with technology

  • Inspire and lead cross functional teams of Product Managers, Designers, Data Analysts, Engineers and domain experts to implement, rollout and measure meaningful features

  • Drive the definition of product requirements, on-going prioritization, and trade-off discussions

  • Work both tactically and strategically on a daily basis to deliver many features at a fast pace keeping in mind scale

  • Drive the execution of multiple business priorities

  • Establish and continuously improve product processes

  • Join an incredible team doing exciting work in fast-paced agile environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in a technical discipline

  • Prior experience building and growing eCommerce websites/apps

  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of Product Managers

  • 10+ years of experience, preferably customer-facing product management experience

  • Crystal clear communication and presentation skills, with a bias toward over-communication and inclusivity

  • Experience incorporating product and operations feedback to craft long term vision and quarterly roadmaps

  • Ability to manage a complex set of products at different stages of their lifecycle

  • Credibility to align multiple product teams and business teams on companywide initiatives

  • Business acumen and curiosity to learn and become an expert on a complex product

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred

  • Conversational in Spanish. At the minimum willingness to learn and invest in acquiring working knowledge in Spanish.
