W Services Group, LLC. is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable clerk who is detail-oriented with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will process high volume of transactions for both our clients and contractor partners. In addition, the candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be proficient at MS Excel. The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. The candidate should have strong oral and written communication skills both internal in the organization as well as with our contractor partners.

Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Sorting and stamping incoming mail.
  • Match corresponding paperwork to incoming invoices.
  • Filing/scanning of paperwork and paid invoices.
  • Processing high volume of vendor/client invoices utilizing our windows based “proprietary” system.
  • Stuff and mail outgoing payments.
  • Research and resolve all vendor invoice discrepancies.
  • Assist Accountant with posting ACH payment transactions.
  • Assist Accountant with reconciling AMEX/Visa Accounts.
  • Special Projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle varying workloads and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Able to process high volume of invoices per week
  • Ability to prioritize workload to allow for the expedited processing / follow-up on rush items
  • Proficient in MS Word / Excel with formulas and pivot tables
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable individual without attendance issues
  • Ability to interact both with employees and vendors in a professional manner
  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail is required
