    The Account Manager is responsible for all sales functions within an assigned account base by selling Visioneer’s document imaging products and services through a two-tier distribution channel.  This person will interface with other members of the sales team, DMR’s, distribution, resellers, and ISV partners and end users to develop relationships to best leverage and enable Visioneer’s penetration across various market segment verticals. Responsibilities and Accountabilities:                                  Proactively identify sales opportunities with DMR accounts especially CDW.Prospect for new business opportunities and upgrading/upselling to existing customers. Executes a business plan focused on driving unit/revenue growth of 10% YOY against current run rate business for the assigned account base.You are expected to meet or exceed 100% of your quota though implementing creative sales strategies, performing extensive customer capture needs analysis.  You will also be responsible for proposals, presentations and product demonstrations.You will be accountable for building and maintaining relationships with CDW, COTG and grow the healthcare business in Chicago.Maintain and deepen relationships within the customer base providing routine communications about Visioneer’s products, programs, offers and promotions.Travel to various sales events and meetings at various account locations.Preferred Qualifications:2-3 years of prior outside sales experience in IT hardware, software or services preferred.High understanding of indirect channel sales, DMR channel and End customersExperience in Channel Management with knowledge of industry trends, competition, customer buying patterns and marketing techniques.Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across organizations.Strong presentation and communication skills.Demonstrated quota achievement and proven ability to sell in complex and dynamic situations.Exceptional time management, prioritization, attention to details, analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to self-direct and work remotelyPrefer a person to live in the Chicago area.
