Associate Level Application Engineer - BI

This position is for a nine month contract at a top healthcare organization headquartered in Nashville, TN.

Required skill sets:
Visual Interdev, SQL Server, Microstrategy 9.1 or higher toolsuite.

Optional skill sets:
SQL Server SSIS

Job Description / Requirements

Construct and debug applications across all aspects of application development including but not limited to Middle tier and Database layer (SQL, T-SQL, and SSIS) as well as front end graphical user interface design (MicroStrategy)

Integrate new/existing software with existing systems.

Production application support.

Create automated unit tests

Collaborate with business analysts, project lead, management and customers on project requirements.

Provide accurate and thorough estimates of work effort.

Participate in large-scale development projects involving multiple areas outside of core team.

Develop understanding of defined SDLC processes and coding standards
