On-site hardware technician for 40 hours per week.
The role of the technician will be to provide TCO services for the institutional fleet and to provide hardware and software services for the Student Laptop Program and Personal Purchase Program.
In addition to providing support for new purchases, the customer requires TCO services for our existing HP fleet and legacy Student Laptop Program purchases. This work will also require hardware repairs for HP computers under warranty.
It will also include:
• Repair for HP and Apple computers out of warranty;
• Re-imaging of office computers (in the event of an employee termination)
• Install office computers (new placement – no data backup);
• Replace office computer (model swap - data migration/backup).
Optional (highly desired):
Provide Apple warranty repair services for the company fleet and user laptops. This includes repair services for MacBook Pro laptops, iMacs and Mac Pro workstations. In addition to Apple computers, being able to service Apple iPad devices is highly desirable as the customer currently owns 97 iPads, most of which are covered by the AppleCare Protection Plan.
