Seeking a US Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist, and/or Military Spouse to apply for a Business Analyst position. Support the Cloud migration of a Data Quality asset, including manual data validations. Lead requirements gathering, identify relevant design, process, and specification issue. Job requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5-7 years of experience, knowledge of SQL and a data analysis background.
Responsibilities: Veteran Military
Understand business context, problems and communicate them clearly in written and oral format.
Work with the business users and leads, to understand & document data requirements.
Understand existing and target state architecture, data events and data flows.
Work with data modelers to ensure that the data model meets business requirements.
Perform detailed data analysis.
Provide detailed business and data requirements including complex data mappings.
Answer questions and scenarios that arise as the developers and testers work off the business requirements.
Create process flows, presentations and reports to document recommendations and deliver them to the business stakeholders.
Perform detailed analysis of complex business processes, data requirements and proposes solutions.
Coordinate UAT testing efforts as part of asset cloud migration and validate result.
Use SQL and/or other database tools and Excel to analyze data.
Coordinate and lead end-to-end integration testing.
Requirements: Veteran Military
US Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist or Military Spouse preferred
Bachelor's technical degree in computer science, computer engineering or related
MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
5-7 years of experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to convert the business requirements into clear and detailed functional requirements for the development team to code;
Ability to coordinate meetings with other teams effectively
Ability to document business requirements and testing results properly
Ability to understand the functionality of DQ asset proactively with minimal guidance from business users and technology leads
Strong SQL and analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Agile and Jira experience
Data Warehouse and Data Quality Experience
Comfortable with manual analysis and validation
Knowledge of ANSI SQL preferred
Experience in multifamily credit or asset management preferred
