Field Installation Project Manager

US Citizenship or valid Green Card Required. Sorry we are not able to do H1 Visa at this time. Also, this position is based in Salem, NH. You must live within a reasonable commute to the office.

The Valmarc Field Installation Project Manager is responsible for managing the entire implementation lifecycle. Work with cross-functional teams to achieve deadlines and milestones, assess risks sand communicate risks to management to ensure successful implementations. The Valmarc Field Installation Project Manager illustrates the ability to balance business needs with technical constraints while pushing both sides to deliver the most value for the company. The Valmarc Field Installation Project Manager works independently and as part of a team with a technical background and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities

· Management of all project planning activities and project deliverables
· Managing a project team of up to 5 individuals to meet project requirements
· Work with customers’ implementation team and represent their software, hardware and reporting needs to Valmarc's various departments
· Escalation coordination between Valmarc and customer’s implementation team, triaging to product management, configuration or development teams within Valmarc
· Install, configure, and test system setup to specific customer requirements at factory locations
· Pre-go-live issue prioritization for development and product management team to resolve
· Successfully support multiple complex projects and communicate project statuses to director, field installations
· Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation to management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
· Proactively check factory system installation readiness to prevent unnecessary project downtime
· Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks during all phases of a project
· Perform “train the trainer” system installation and user training sessions at customer factory locations
· Develop standard and custom documentation defined as part of the Statement of Work
· Support development of team members through cross-training
· Contribute to the definition of standard and custom installation methodology and continue to improve on current installation process through post-mortems and industry best practices
· Provide documentation support for all ongoing projects
· Define requirements with customers and develop dashboards and reports as needed for projects
· Reviews configuration, schedules and designs for installations
· Maintains all installation project records in a centralized company database
· Support sales activity as needed
· Travel as needed to customer and factory locations up to 75%


· Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, solves complex problems, and produce high-quality results.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Technical skills including familiarity with networking and database administration (MySQL, Oracle,etc)
· Familiarity with Linux and Windows XP/7
· Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross functional efforts toward a common goal, including the ability to effectively communicate program expectations and status across stakeholders and upward to senior management
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills partnered with proven analytical and technical skills
· Comfort with detailed and complicated technology including software, hardware, etc.
· Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Project
· Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide resolutions

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

· Associates degree, technical degree, or Bachelor’s Degree
· 2-5 years of technical project management
· 2-3 years of business intelligence development (dashboard and reporting)
· Experience working in a warehouse or factory environment
· Previous experience working internationally
· Multilingual languages including one or more of the following: Spanish, Malay, Portuguese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Hindi
