U.S. Construction Corp. has been in business for 42 years. We are a commercial contractor specializing in the construction of high end restaurants, night clubs, movie theaters, boutique hotels, and airport concessions.

The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager throughout the entire life cycle of the project.


As a U.S. Construction Corp. Assistant Project Manager you will work closely with a Project Manager and be responsible for the following:

  • Procurement during the early stages of pre-construction.
  • Ensuring all documents and materials are maintained throughout a project
  • Maintain organization of project in our cloud-based software and ensure that all photos and required documents are loaded, coded, and organized.
  • Manage and prepare project documents (RFI's, change order, submittals, closeout documents and drawing logs)
  • Manage and maintain all financial records ensuring all records are current
  • Manage and maintain project schedules
  • Follow-up on all contracts, insurance certificates, etc.
  • Manage close-out process and ensure all documentation are in order
  • Identifying, tracking, and procuring all necessary materials ensuring they arrive as needed and in line with the project schedule.
  • Managing the submittal process and effectively communicating with subcontractors and project team as needed to ensure potential issues are quickly resolved.
  • Developing and maintaining positive Subcontractor relationships.
  • Developing critical client relationships through being available for client requests.
  • Maintaining close communication across Project Team
  • Prepare and issue sub contracts
  • Assist Superintendent and Project Manager with subcontractor coordination, review of sub payment requests and preparation of invoices to clients.
  • Assist with budget management
  • Perform quantity take offs as required
  • Create meeting agendas, attend client/construction meetings and maintain minutes as required by Project Manager


  • 3-5 years of experience in construction management with a commercial general contractor
  • Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Civil Engineer
  • Ability to read plans and specs
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge in Procore is a plus
