About this job

As an Encompass Administrator, you will be responsible for the advanced analysis, configuration, customization, and maintenance of the loan origination systems (LOS) used by TSP’s clients with a special emphasis on Ellie Mae’s Encompass system.

The ideal candidate is a diligent, hardworking individual who can learn new systems and processes rapidly, can work both independently and as part of a team and can always deliver outstanding work in a fast paced, highly visible role.

Required Duties

  • Monitor and maintain the lending systems used by TSP clients such as Encompass.
  • Keep team members and end-users apprised of any systems related issues, events, or anomalies that may affect system performance or availability.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of banking and mortgage compliance and regulatory requirements as they apply to systems.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all end-user functional roles and responsibilities as they relate to systems usage.
  • Perform, direct, or assist as needed, in the configuration and customization of systems applications.
  • Follow IT governance policies for processes, information exchange and system implementation.
  • Analyze systems vendor documentation and technical specifications of any new releases for deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
  • Assure that systems vendor update/releases are thoroughly tested and then deployed.
  • Manage and document systems configuration changes.
  • Train end-users on system functions
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements using required documentation tools
  • Develop use cases, defining and documenting user procedures and workflows, and how each class of user interacts with east system function.
  • Create and maintain systems and training documentation
  • Collaborate on best practices and methods to achieve business objectives
  • Communicate service offering sales opportunities to your manager and/or client services manager
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Work requires knowledge of mortgage industry guidelines/regulations.
  • Previous Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) administration and implementation experience
  • High aptitude and interest in working with the business users to analyze processes and derive business requirements.
  • Proficiency in Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proficient with process mapping requirements.
  • Proficient with writing test cases.
  • Familiarity writing report queries
  • Understanding of current industry best practices, and an understanding of the technology stack being used, to identify and optimize business rule sets.
  • Support the process of interviewing users and reviewing existing documentation to elicit business requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members and business stakeholders.
  • Meets productivity standards and achieves key outcomes.
  • Contributes to building a positive team spirit and treats others with respect.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information and uses information appropriately.
  • Exhibits sound judgment when making decisions and recommendations.
  • Analyzes and interprets information accurately.

Pluses

  • In-depth understanding of the Mortgage Lending process
  • Prior experience configuring or administering loan origination systems (LOS) such as MortgageFlex, Mortgage Cadence, Enterprise Lending Center, LoanQuest, WIPRO NetOxygen, Empower, and other similar rules-based, tool-kit oriented LOS applications.

Travel:

  • Position may require 15% travel.
