WE ARE SEEKING AN ETHICAL, RELIABLE Software Support Representative!!!

Trojan Professional Services, Inc., is looking for a high-energy employee to work in our Software Support Department. This is a call center environment involving heavy and lengthy phone calls. Employee will assist clients with technical support, enrollment, and apply the need for problem solving skills when needed. Employee will make outbound calls to client offices and vendors, and take inbound calls from our dental office clients.

This position requires excellent customer service skills, and the ability to assist our clients within a software environment. This position offers on the job training.

Our employees have an attitude of service towards each other and our dental office clients.

Summary Installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to software systems, and provides technical assistance and training to system users by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Installs or assists service personnel in installation of software and peripheral components such as modems.

Loads specified software packages such as Trojan Stand Alone, Trojan Managed Care, and Trojan Automated Tacs Program.

Enters commands and observes system functions to verify correct system operation.

Responds to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system software, and operator problems.

Train and Instructs users in use of equipment, software, and manuals.

Recommends or performs minor remedial actions to correct problems.

Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager, problem request tracking system, and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail, or in-person communication.

Replaces defective or inadequate software packages.

Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.

Coping with job stress, getting along with customers and co-workers, accepting criticism, staying alert while on duty.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and clients.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet Explorer Internet software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.

This is a temp to hire position. All applicants will be referred to a hiring agency. Upon successful completion of the temp to hire period applicant may be considered for regular full time employment. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and background screening with temp to hire agency to be eligible for temp to hire employment.
