This role is responsible for thorough portfolio review (including rating and underwriting rules), market research, data compilation and/or analysis in on-boarding/maintenance of Program businesses. A key aspect of this role will be understanding of business environment including internal & external IT systems and laws/regulations, especially over the agency management.
Assist product manager in the execution of the product responsibilities.
Perform primary market research and review, including but not limited to competitor filing.
Collaborate with key stakeholders in the coordination of efforts in the quality assurance and process management/improvement.
Provide leadership or support in the development/completion of business requirement specifications (BRS).
Provide leadership or support in the coordination with other functionalities in the implementation of BRS.
Create and/or maintain various product documents, including but not limited to rate and forms manual.
Create and/or maintain Rate Order of Calculation and its Rate Engine configuration.
Perform regular testing of rating/policy processing systems and report any deficiency or areas of improvement.
Ensure that rates and/or policy forms are accurate and compliant in accordance with the state filing.
Prepare reports on Key Performance Indices (KPI) on production & profitability and assist in their analysis.
Preparation of other reports and presentations over product features and issues.

College degree required.
1-3 years in product management and/or 1-3 years in commercial underwriting
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Familiarity with various project cycles or project management work
Works well under deadlines in a changing environment with the capability to perform multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective at building strong relationships internally and externally.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel (withVBAs & macros), PowerPoint, Word; Statistical Analysis, SQL and/or SAS
Able to travel with overnight stays up to approximately 10% of the time.
