Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Desktop publishing software experience, SolidWorks CAD experience and be familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems;
Familiarity with modern ERP systems, PLM systems and manufacturing documentation (i.e. BOM, item masters, etc.).
MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
*Creates, implements and finalizes engineering change orders (ECO's)
*Updates various formats of documents per the ECO in word/excel.
*Updates SolidWorks CAD drawing changes for clerical and minor changes.
*Coordinates desktop publishing and translations for product labeling creation and changes.
*Creates and updates required print on demand product labeling.
*Performs file maintenance of BOM's, parts drawings, ECO's, process alerts and other customer documents using a PLM system and SAP.
*Coordinates ECO status with customer and implements cost changes and effective dates;
*Member of franchise teams ensures projects are in compliance with document control policies and procedures; creates and maintains the Design History Record and Device Master Record in Arena.
*Ensures data accuracy and completeness of documentation including logs, reports and distribution.
*Maintains and tracks product configuration and manufacturing/customer requirements;
*Facilitates the interface, including the use of the configuration review board, between program manager, engineering, manufacturing and materials to ensure appropriate changes are documented.
* Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
*Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
