Position Description: Business Systems Analyst with background in SAP MM and PP modules, along with BI proficiency, who will have the authority and responsibility to analyze business requirements, operational processes, and data relationships/configurations to sustain operations, align processes across business units, and develop solutions to complex problems. Communicate with numerous functional areas and define business requirements related to technology. Lead process development, implement and train on improvement activities.
oAssess current use of SAP modules (primarily MM & PP, with an understanding of the relationships to other modules)
oAssess business needs in the Materials Management and Production Planning functions to include system utilization and report structures
oRecommend and execute on system, process and reporting enhancements within the existing IT structure
oWork closely with and train super users among various business functions
oExploit efficiency opportunities within SAP with a goal of eliminating or significantly subordinate spreadsheets or third party software
oAssist in the develop of SOPs and training documentation
oProvide training on ad hoc report writing tools.
• B.A. or B.S. degree.
•Comprehensive understanding of SAP software and information technology solutions and ability to apply to client needs.
•Experience with and strong understanding of lean manufacturing processes and related software configuration
•Solid understanding of system development methodologies.
8 years of IT or related experience with B.A or B.S.; 5 years of IT or related experience with M.A. or M.S., with 3-5 years’ experience with SAP / BI and the MM and PP modules.
Experience in the development and support of integrated business applications and systems architecture.
•Experience with process development and improvement and the ability to provide/review multiple solutions and selection of the best solution with the highest process improvement impact.
•Experience in business process definition, requirements definition and technology solution research.
•Experience in developing test scenarios, protocols and SW validation reports.
•Experience in facilitating small to large groups through challenging discussions.
•Focused on improving productivity, profitability and business processes; demonstrated success in delivering solutions on time and within budget.
•Excellent leadership and team work skills.
•Strong interpersonal, oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
•Business focused, boundary-less leader with global scope and ability to translate business requirements into IT or process deliverables.
•Strong SDVLC process and project management skills as well as the ability to direct multiple large project teams.
•Ability to translate business process or concepts into technical requirements (and vice versa).
•Analytical problem solving skills.

•Requirements definition and design specification.
•SAP integration, Business Warehouse and/or end-user experience.
•Competency in satisfying FDA regulations within an IT environment
