The Safety and Security Administrator is responsible for safety and security administration, safety program management, regulatory compliance, training presentations and problem resolution on safety processes and procedures as a result of audit findings and internal continuous improvement. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, safety/environmental or related field and five years' experience is required. Additional formal training in safety procedures and the preparation and presentation of training programs and a certification in safety (CSP, CIH) is preferred. Field Pipeline operations experience is also preferred. The successful candidate will have knowledge of emergency and safety procedures, policies, procedures, equipment operating parameters, and all applicable DOT, EPA, FERC, DHS and OSHA requirements. Knowledge and understanding of the definitions of risk, hazard and danger and best practices to reduce potential hazards related to safety and compliance with regulatory agencies. Skill in root cause analysis, data mining, access databases.
