Quality Systems Manager
Assure the highest level of quality in every aspect of our business in order to provide our customers.
Reports to director of quality systems, the quality systems manager ensures that quality programs meet or exceed customer and regulatory agency requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include conducting inspections at plants;
- recommending and seeking methods to improve quality programs
- managing HACCP programs
- managing our global food safety initiative compliance (GFSI)
- working with our plants to comply with customer requirements and maintain the highest industry standards in quality programs.
Coordinate, communicate and schedule all required customer audits, safe quality food (SQF) audits, third party audits, and internal audits.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in food science or some other related field; or combination of education and progressively responsible related experience.
Prior experience in food manufacturing and SQF is preferred.
This person should be able to demonstrate solid organizational as well as excellent oral and communication skills.
