The Outside Sales Manager manages a Team of Outside Advertising Sales Reps for their accomplishment of individual and team goals on all media projects assigned. This includes identification of training and coaching needs, development of programs and activities to meet those needs, retaining successful reps, and maintenance of positive team interaction and morale.
The Successful Manager monitors performance and progress of the sales team in the areas of call volume, sales, individual and team sales goals, paperwork compliance, and other performance measures. Provides direction, coaching and guidance to individual reps on ways and methods to improve performance.
The Sales Manager oversees the entire sales process on assigned media projects, with responsibility of meeting or exceeding project revenue and other target goals. This includes responsibility for developing sales strategies and activities to meet and/or exceed assigned sales and other project targets.
