Overview

Generate revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification and closing sales; recommending new products.

Job Description

  • Developing effective sales plans using sales methodology
  • Consistently deliver pre-agreed upon quota to generate revenue
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM information on all existing and potential customers
  • Identify and develop new business through networking, prospecting and follow-up calls
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements and presenting appropriate hardware/software solutions
  • Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
  • Prepare detailed proposal documents, delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of the hardware/software accurately and confidently
  • Negotiating terms and closing sales
  • Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing hardware/software systems and peripherals
  • Continually update knowledge of rapidly changing data and network products and requirements
  • Act as liaison between customer and company to ensure customers' continued satisfaction
  • Continued interdepartmental interaction ensuring all customer's requests and requirements
  • Expanding sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts
  • Contributing to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues
