Job brief

We are looking for a Software QA Tester to assess and ensure software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for coordinating with Product Engineers, developing and executing automated test suites, and finding and reporting bugs, glitches, and issues. In this role, you must have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work as designed.


  • Design, build, and execute test strategies with the goal of eliminating bugs
  • Find key/important problems in software products developed
  • Communicate these problems in a timely and clear manner that expresses the impact on the product and the wider business to allow the issues to be addressed at both a technical and business level
  • Analysis of critical incidents and facilitation of possible solutions
  • Formulate pragmatic test strategy that maximises test effectiveness in the available time
  • Communicate test strategy and rationale
  • Manage test products / documentation to facilitate ad hoc post project reviews (e.g. audits)
  • Train and coach junior testers and developers


  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Collaborate with development teams to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
  • Evaluate product operation according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC


  • Experience managing concurrent test projects across multiple systems
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology
  • Experience in testing the integration between otherwise independent systems
  • Experience with testing mobile, web and native applications
  • Experience with managing testing tasks across all stages of the development pipeline
  • Experience in engaging non-testing specialists in testing activities
  • Experience in coaching developers is desirable
  • Willingness to explore and develop automated testing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
