The Supply Chain Analyst Intern will maintain solutions and provide support as it relates to the customer agreement to help improve efficiency, provide cost savings. This position will require both customer and carrier interactions and be capable of representing TCL in customer meetings. The Supply Chain Analyst Intern will work collectively between Sales, Operations, Engineering and Technology to support logistics solutions and systems implementations.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Working closely with our supply chain professionals to share strategies, data, and experience what it is like to be a supply chain leader at TCL
Work with business planning team on demand forecasting, supply planning and scheduling, and inventory management
Manage procurement and communicate with the manufacturing team to understand resource condition, material planning, and production schedule
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate all data related to supply chain and operation to facilitate decision making, strategy development, and improve supply chain efficiency
Measure and report supply chain and operation performance
Collaborate with cross functional teams such as sales & marketing, manufacturing & operations, finance, quality control, customer service, and/or demand/supply planning
Work with cross functional teams to meet supply chain objectives such as inventory entitlement, inventory control and inventory market commitments
Must be FLUENT in Mandarin and English
Candidate must be working toward a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Supply Chain Management or a related field
Entry level experience with data analytics, excel and SAP
Willing to learn and motivated to succeed
Possess strong attention to detail
Excellent organization and ability to work well independently or in a team environment
Follows directions well and is a self-started in identifying what is critical to the success of project and team
