As the Director of Home Appliance Sales, they will be responsible for building sales and developing the North American market for the TCL Home Appliance business. The right hire must be a high-energy person that uses superb communications skills to work equally well with customers, the marketing/sales team, supply chain operations team, as well as business executives. They will act as the prime interface for the Business Line Leader for the NA market and understand the needs of the local market so that the Business Line can better tailor the offering to the NA consumers and retailers.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Ensure sales and margin targets are met in defined markets/clusters
Develop strategies to increase / expand market shares
Define distribution strategy and channel management
Develop customer relationships to win listings
Drive and manage the local Market Introduction Plan with the executive team.
Responsible for the demand plan and alignment with sales targets
Ensure timely reports - i.e. weekly sales reporting vs. monthly and quarterly targets
Drive the business planning and review cycle (i.e. volume, sales, margin targets)
Analyze local market data, trends and consumer research to support product creation
Analyze and estimate SKU rotation, distribution coverage and activation budget requirements
Implementation and achievement of ROI from marketing investments
Ensure excess stock, aging stock, and all other performance targets are met
Ensuring JBPs are built to reinforce and achieve the strategy and targets
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
5+ years of home appliance account / product management experience
2+ years of home improvement account management experience (Home Depot / Lowes)
Analytical, problem solver, collaborative, strategic, results-oriented
Proven track record of efficiently maintaining and growing customer relationships
Ability to leverage relationships to increase shelf-share and drive increased business
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities at once while maintaining the highest level of quality and detail
Ability to utilize analytical tools to understand business metrics and address and solve business issues
Strong English language communication skills, with an understanding of cross-cultural issues and an ability to tailor communication depending upon the recipient’s language abilities
Self-directed with a demonstrated ability to prioritize activities to align with rapidly growing programs and responsibilities
