Calling on new accounts from our existing prospecting database to schedule sales appointments, prospecting for new clients, securing outside sales appointments, conducting and closing sales appointments, maintain a long term relationship with new and existing advertisers, and networking within the specific professional industries by attending industry related events and activities.
Selling local advertising into your own edition of Attorney at Law Magazine
Selling & coordinating the magazine's cover & feature stories
Maintaining advertising accounts long term
Selecting & directing the local editorial content
Networking and promoting your magazine within the local legal community
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in sales and be an energetic self-starter who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing our client base. Candidate must be results-driven and be committed to creating new business opportunities while providing a high level of customer service. An understanding of the local legal community will be a strong plus.
Experienced & successful outside sales professional.
Ability to work within deadlines, be self-managed, and work independently.
Strong work ethic with high motivation for advancement.
Track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Key relationships within the local Legal and Accounting professions.
Understanding of how to research potential customers and maintain a database.
Knowledge or network with key relationships within the local accounting or legal community will be a plus!
Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with CRM software.
Excellent client presentation (in-person) and written communication skills as well as strong customer service and organizational skills.
Must be a good communicator and skilled at developing relationships.
Skilled at prioritizing and managing time effectively.
Have a strong work ethic and be able to work remotely.
A positive attitude and professional demeanor is essential along with the flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment.
100% commission opportunity
Up to 30% commission on sales plus bonuses
There are no caps on your earning potential and income. Commissions paid on contract and in advance of collections as soon as 10 days from magazine closing. Average first full year Publisher makes between $50K-75K. Top producers have earned over $200K.
