Work directly for an upscale thrift store in the Central/Northern NJ area. Our client has locations all over the Tri-State area and they are looking for great people to join their growing team.

Summary - Retail Store Manager

Store Managers are responsible to lead their team to deliver solid execution across all departments; achieving daily production targets is necessary to generate strong comp sales and to provide a terrific customer experience. You will be expected to drive operational excellence through "tried and true" business policies, processes and procedures; attention to detail is a MUST. As a store manager you will need to make daily cross-training for your employees a priority and foster an environment that promotes continuous learning and improvement. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is faced with daily challenges where you can demonstrate solid decision making, problem solving skills and your ability to adapt to the ever-changing business needs.

Experience/Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
-Minimum 5 years experience in retail store management position.
-Your daily work schedule is based on the needs of the business and you will be required to work some nights, weekends and holidays.
-Continuous standing, frequent walking, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching and occasional kneeling to handle and/or inspect merchandise will be required to effectively perform your daily duties.
-Demonstrated record of achieving performance objectives; drive for results.
-Ability to read your sales floor and analyze available sales data in order to make necessary adjustments to improve overall sales and productivity.
-Strong interpersonal skills: verbal and non-verbal communication, listening, decision making, assertiveness, positive attitude, problem-solving, etc...
