Job Summary:

This person is responsible for operating Supernus’ Omnichannel measurement framework across the commercial portfolio of brands; analyzing media, website, and CRM data in a consistent fashion to deliver the overall picture of performance while uncovering new opportunities and audience insights throughout the marketing cycle.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

This role requires experience measuring, mining, and generating insights from digital customer engagement data within all digital channels, including website, paid media, social media, and email campaign data sets.

Key areas of emphasis for this role include the following:

  • Run the omnichannel measurement framework within the Digital Marketing department
  • Refine the baseline measurement framework to suit specific brand-agency relationships and each team’s marketing mix/digital ecosystem
  • Set key performance indicators & benchmarks for each brand with the Digital and Brand Director, and agency partners
  • Merge media data together with web and CRM data to create a holistic/apples-to-apples picture of the brand’s marketing funnel and customer journey through the ecosystem
  • Work with Digital/Brand leadership to design experiments to evaluate channel, message, or sequence of digital tactics and generate insights and recommendations related to customer engagement on digital channels
  • Work with Digital leadership to define & facilitate reporting processes between agencies
  • Align with IT, Data Acquisition & Governance functions accordingly to apply standards and rules pertaining to acquisition and use of first party data
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as recognized “expert/owner” of Supernus’ marketing/omni-channel analytics; socialize and train stakeholders on the operation of the model
  • Monitor general market trends for media/consumer behaviors and emerging channels/communications platforms

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Statistics/Data Science, Econometrics, Operations Research or Computer Science
  • At least 5 years of applicable full-time work experience with at least 2 years in digital marketing analytics and optimization
  • Experience measuring, mining, and generating insights from digital customer engagement data within all digital channels, including website, paid media, social media, and email campaign data sets
  • Ability to “see/visualize” overall brand marketing ecosystems and connections within it
  • Ability to ingest and synthesize data from disparate sources and use to craft, understand & communicate customer journeys and behavioral pathways
  • Experience and knowledge of statistical models and methods, and marketing experimentation (e.g. A/B tests, multivariate content/messaging & optimization)
  • Expertise in mixed media modeling and digital attribution models
  • Familiarity with analytics and visualization platforms such as Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Qlik
  • Customer skills: client focused and responsive; collaborative work style; focus on results, passion for keeping up with media and technology trends
  • Communication skills:
    • Strong verbal/written/presentation; ability to layout and deliver succinct PowerPoint stories as well as structured syntheses and recommendations
    • Willingness to "have an opinion" backed up by insight and analytics and the confidence to influence key stakeholders in meetings and one to one basis

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
