Director, Business Development
Job Location: St. Louis
This is a direct hire to a full time position
Global provider of web-based software and consulting services that primarily targets the Legal Industry seeks a top-notch Business Development resource at the Director level to oversee Business Development activity to target clients in the Midwest market area.
Use existing relationships or form new ones with Fortune 1000 companies within the territory.
Determine potential Client needs and formulate proposed solutions using Company products/services.
Make effective presentations of proposed solutions at the C-Level.
Perform contract negotiations including terms & conditions.
Must have strong ability to close sales.
Perform Account Management functions to ensure that products sold are delivered on time and in budget.
Follow up with clients post-sale to mine for additional business.
Maintain excellent client communications and customer service.
5-10 years of consultative selling experience.
Bachelor Degree required.
Solid understanding of technical concepts and web applications.
Experience selling at the C-Level.
Polished professional who is self motivated and organized.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills/good listener
Passionate about sales and goal oriented.
Dependable, persistent and assertive.
Works well as a member of a team.
