Responsible for the sale of new and used motorcycles, as well as developing the potential merchandise or labor sales associated with the motorcycle sale. Responsible for meeting sales goals and objectives as set by management. Also responsible for ensuring overall customer satisfaction during the sales process meets company goals.
Sale of new and used Harley-Davidson vehicles
Maintain a log of customer contacts and follow-up on all potential sales
Work with Parts Department, Motorclothes Department, and Service Department to create add-on sales to all motorcycle sales
Coordinate motorcycle deliveries with Service Department
Ensure motorcycles are cleaned, prepped, and ready to go when customers arrive to pick-up
Ensure motorcycles on sales floor are kept clean and ready for customer delivery
Achieves all sales goals
Responsible for submitted customer satisfaction surveys meeting company goals
Follow-up with new customers after the sale to ensure they are happy
Seek out potential used motorcycle purchases for company
Participate in sales training as offered by the company
Promote dealership programs such as Rider’s Edge, Authorized Rentals, HOG, etc
Represent and support the interests of the dealership during interactions with employees
Solicit ongoing job performance feedback from your manager
Maintain a positive work environment
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Comply with established security, sales and records keeping procedures and practices
Seek out information regarding the on goings of Sound Harley-Davidson
Participate in regular department meetings to review performance, and address problems/issues/opportunities within the department
Ensure Sales Department is providing first rate customer service and meeting the customer’s needs and expectations
Ensure customer complaints/problems/issues are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction, involve supervisor if needed
Utilize CSI scores and other sources of customer feedback as the basis for making improvements that will lead to improved customer satisfaction
Bar and Shield Award
As part of the Sound Harley-Davidson team, a key deliverable is ensuring the dealership achieves the Bar and Shield award. This means identifying and acting on any information that would negatively impact our ability to achieve this award from the Harley-Davidson Motor Company

Demonstrated sales experience, motorcycle or auto preferred.
Washington State motorcycle endorsement preferred.
