General Function: 

Looking for an experienced, enthusiastic professional that is passionate about building successful client relationships. The candidate is responsible for providing an exceptional client experience, while leading and supporting the client's business strategies to ensure excellence with a consultative approach among the entire portfolio. Strategic Account Managers are responsible for achieving building meaningful relationships, solution-selling, growing customer volume and advocating on the merchant business. People who've experienced success in previous roles or similar positions in Account Management or Relationship Management are qualified candidates for this consultative role. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Become the expert on all aspects of the relationship with the customer.


Develop and maintain key client relationships at corporate, regional and store levels

Proactively leads the account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.


Provide in-store support to assist with POS integrations, cascading application decisioning, and program/process training


Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  •   Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years' experience working as an Account Manager.

  •   Minimum of 5 years Client Relationship Management experience.

  •   Understanding of Retailers Point of Sales systems and integration experience

  •   Minimum of 3 years' Experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.

      Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

  •   Ability to identify and communicate with multiple roles and decision-makers within a company

  •   Know how to engage clients and use questioning techniques to understand business needs, discover

    opportunities and position appropriate solutions

  •   Understand leasing landscape, Industry trends and impact of a merchants' business

  •   Employs strategic account management techniques with exceptional analytical and quantitative skills

  •   Self-driven, highly motivated individual never satisfied with the status quo

  •   Creatively resolves a wide range of problems through effective solutions

  •   Reads situations quickly and moves to Win-Win scenarios with key stakeholders

  • Working Conditions:

  •   Remote employee 

  •   Willing to travel approximately 75%
