Lead Generation Specialist

Job Function

The Lead Generation Specialist will identify and generate qualified leads for our sales team in the West and East territories working closely with the entire North American sales team to build pipeline and drive revenue. This person will make a significant contribution through execution of rapid and proactive prospective account development activities such as cold calling, following-up and qualifying trade show leads, following up with prospects identified by the Sales team and responding to inbound inquiries.

Essential Job Functions

  • Reach the right people to reveal the needs and issues of the decision makers and others who influence the buying process
  • Help with pipeline development and sales targets established by the company
  • Call prospects and qualify leads by understanding customer needs, budgets, decision-making, and competitive product via a consultative sales methodology.
  • Communicate effectively with sales team
  • Ability to offer high level product overview
  • Document progress utilizing Salesforce.com
  • Work with sales people to ensure successful lead transfer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior experience in Sales is required
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding measurable goals in a metrics-based phone sales environment preferred
  • Experience in lead generation preferred
  • Experience in the long-term care or healthcare industries preferred, but not required
  • Sales methodology experience and knowledge of business organization structures and software sales cycles preferred
  • Previous employer and customer references

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Manage multiple tasks and effectively work in a collaborative/team environment
  • CRM and marketing automation application experience desired
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
