We are currently seeking a Systems Support Specialist to join our team! The Systems Support Specialist will function in both a support and administration capacity for server, desktop and network equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Installation, configuration, and administration of client workstations, as well as, some server and network equipment
  • Desktop deployment, repair and maintenance including laptops, PC's, printers, etc.
  • Active Directory User Administration
  • Plan, coordinate, implement, and document software installations, upgrades, and migrations and to coordinate hardware upgrades and operating system upgrades for both desktops and servers
  • Conduct inventory and maintenance of wireless devices
  • Imaging, inventory and troubleshooting for showroom equipment including thin clients, credit card devices, printers, monitors routers and switches
  • Manage system backups using Veritas Backup Exec
  • Frame-Relay, DSL and T-l network support services.
  • Work with Help Desk to ensure projects and problems are being addressed appropriately
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Management

Job Requirements:
  • Certifications in Computer Information Systems or related field (MCSE and/or Network Plus preferred), or equivalent work experience
  • 6 years experience in support of Microsoft OS-based and Apple desktop computers
  • 3 years working in a mid-sized data center environment
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on server (Windows 200x, VM preferred) and network (Cisco routers and switches) experience
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and be on-call as needed
