Automotive Admin Assistant/HR Liaison

Sheehy Auto Stores is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Admin Assistant/HR Liaison who will be responsible for helping to build and maintain a high-performing team. The successful candidate will bring strong administrative, organization, and prioritization skills.  Most importantly, this position is responsible for HR administration including personnel documentation and the coordination of compliance matters.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, prioritize, and summarize the content of incoming materials (i.e., phone calls, emails, interoffice communications), special requests and meetings
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, conference calls, and other executive events; informs attendees/participants of function dates and times, reserves meeting space
  • Ensure executives are prepared for all meetings by obtaining and providing all proper materials needed
  • Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions
  • Offering administrative assistance across all departments
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects effectively, with a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed
  • Assist Managers with onboarding process as well as set-up New Hire Orientation

Requirements

  • Dealership experience preferred
  • Must be organized, self-directed, dependable, and flexible in this fast-paced environment
  • Superior time management skills with demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple projects and assignments
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations in a mature and confidential manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to efficiently create correspondence of all types
  • Superior written and verbal commination skills
  • Possess skillful knowledge of Microsoft Suite and use of the Internet to research and create documents and materials
  • Cash handling experience a plus
  • Associate degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Able to pass pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug screen
  • Must have a valid driver's license
