Purchaser

Job Summary:

• Our company is looking for a Purchaser who can analyze our current ERP system and create the best methods for day-to-day purchasing operations. Our Purchaser will be responsible for overseeing our purchasing department on corporate inventory needs and sales projections for the coming year. Responsibilities and Duty:

• Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.
• Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts.
• Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.
• Monitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stock.
• Attending events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products.
• Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely.
• Updating all records of purchased products.
• Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses.

Work Hours and Location:

• The Work hours will be Monday through Friday 7am – 5pm Eastern Time but hours will vary as necessitated by business.
• Applicant’s Location: All applicants must work in the office in Waverly, OH.

Requirements and Experience:

• Must be well-organized and able to multi-task.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be comfortable with computers and have basic computer literacy (ERP system, Microsoft Office, Smartphones, Emails, Internet Research, and Basic Computer Troubleshooting).
• Strong analytical skills
• A high school diploma or higher.
• 3+ years’ experience
• Worked with Cabinetry and related industry preferred

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $15 Per Hour
