This position is the assistant manager at our Vancouver location on a full-time basis. As the assistant store manager of one of our stores, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manager Mentality: responsible for leading store operations through understanding and enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, training programs, and cultural points
  • Job Mastery: master and be able to perform/train every position in the store
  • Collaboration: participate in weekly/monthly manager meetings with the operations team for company updates
  • Live the Sandbox VR way: exceed expectations of our guests and team by promoting the culture, mission, and core values
  • Deliver an Incredible Guest Experience: you will be responsible for your store's day-to-day operations, ensuring an incredible guest experience for every person that walks into your store.
  • Maximize store profitability: you will be responsible for managing labor and recommending solutions to the store manager to maximize profits and minimize operational costs.
  • Technical support and troubleshooting: you will be responsible for all aspects of monitoring, managing, and partnering with the Hong Kong support team to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise in day-to-day operations
  • Collaboration: you will be asked to partner with other departments for ad-hoc projects and other administrative/operational duties that might arise in a fast-growing start-up company.
  • Performance review for others: you will be responsible for providing performance reports semi-annually for other staff to the manager for their appraisal
  • Safety and Cleanliness: ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our equipment and location exceed the expectations of our guests and team
  • Communication: consistently and effectively communicate all new initiatives, store issues, project updates, and ideas through the proper communication channels
  • Inquiries: you will be responsible for replying to all customer's queries through every channel when assigned to you
