Job Overview
As a Senior Systems Support Specialist, you will assist the RSI’s Hardware Team to support and troubleshoot the daily infrastructure and hardware needs of a diverse book of clients. RSI requires a reliable self-starter with exceptional troubleshooting skills. As an RSI Senior Systems Support Specialist, you will delegate and see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance and take initiative to provide status updates to the Senior Systems Administrator/ Team Lead and clients, as necessary. A qualified RSI candidate possesses superior communication skills, leadership, enjoys working in a challenging, fast-paced environment, highly task oriented, and willing to maintain Microsoft Certifications. Candidates must pass a practical skills test prior to being hired at RSI.
Responsibilities and Duties

➢ Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned

➢ Train Hardware Team members

➢ Delegate and oversee the Hardware Team members
➢ Provide prompt technical support to customer base on a variety of issues by responding to telephone calls, emails and “in-office” requests. Log all requests in RSI’s ticketing system and escalate, as necessary

➢ Maintain all system hardware and software and install and perform regular maintenance on all software and associate ancillary equipment and manage all hardware and software throughout company.

➢ Design, develop, and test interfaces and upgrades to existing systems.

➢ Monitor the system, set up automated alerts, and performance notifications to proactively address problems.
➢ Train end users in access, security, use, and customization of programs and software.

➢ Troubleshoot, upgrade, monitor, and diagnose application and system problems to enable ongoing business.

➢ Respond to problems in workflow or unmet business needs with strategies and potential solutions.
➢ Provide escalation assistance with email, printing, anti-virus, application issues, etc.
➢ Configure and install Windows Desktops and servers for clients
➢ Maintain up-to-date documentation of systems
➢ Provide basic application training when necessary
➢ Complete monthly client reviews
➢ Assist the Systems Security Specialist with verifying & implementing client security protocols

➢ Proficient in Windows 10, 8.1, and 7, MS Server OS, Hyper V, AD, DHCP, DNS
➢ Technical knowledge of Office 365 and Azure
➢ Knowledge of Microsoft Best Practices
➢ Willingness to pursue Microsoft Certifications
➢ Experience in an IT help desk role supporting a Microsoft Windows environment
➢ Clean driving record with valid GA driver's license
➢ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
