Job Description: SAP Technical PI Developer (S19)

Rate- $60-70 per hour, all inclusive
Located in the suburbs of Philadelphia

Job Requirements:

· This position requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of 6 years of SAP PI experience, and 12 years of experience in middleware.

· U.S. Citizenship is required, no exceptions

· Candidate must successfully pass a U.S. Public Trust Background Investigation and acquire a security+ certification


Duties and Responsibilities (including all essential job functions)

· Provides 7x24 production support for the SAP Middleware application

· Modifies and develops the production Shared Services components and interfaces as required

· Responds in a timely manner to production issues based on the SLA (Service Level Agreement)

· Performs troubleshooting and resolves problem tickets

· Works with external LMP partner systems to resolve issues as necessary

· Utilizes the proper procedures to escalate issues to other groups as needed

· Reviews all changes and works with LMP Middleware Architect to ensure the solution is architecturally sound

· Performs SAP PI operational reviews and participates in development strategy sessions

· Reviews the technical specifications and provides assistance for code review

· Mentors Middleware developers to assist with transition from SeeBeyond Middleware to SAP PI Middleware

· Analyzes integration test results as required

· Maintains documentation related to production components

Critical Knowledge

· Configuration of web services for the SAP PI according to best practices and development requirements and standards

· Experience with (SOA) Service Oriented Architecture and how it relates to and integrates for web services

· Proficient in all areas of ABAP and JAVA development especially interfaces

· Experience with third-party adapters i.e. Web Services, SOAP/Proxy adapters and interface mapping


Critical Skills

· SAP NetWeaver XI/PI Certification (preferred)
· Experience in SAP PI 7.1.1
· Ability to drive to a project plan and execute to meet deadlines
· Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment with a diverse set of individuals
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
· A proactive self-starter


Organizational Considerations for Good Job Fit
· Previous exposure to large SAP projects

· DOD project experience preferred
