We are seeking two 2nd Shift Injection Blow Mold Team Leaders for permanent openings in Cranbury, NJ. The shift is Wednesday through Sunday, working 3:30pm - 12am (midnight). The pay is $22 an hour and the client offers full benefits.
Responsibilities & Procedure:
-To perform the job functions to maintain efficiency of assigned machines in order to meet departmental and company goals. -To perform first articles on color and resin changes. -To coordinate with Quality Control department on production activities, such as held ware, isolation procedures, etc. -To utilize the MATTEC production reporting system to control and improve the process. For example: production reporting downtime reports, SPC, SQC, etc. -To diagnose and resolve all IBM machine and processing problems to ensure product meets specifications and requirements. -To make adjustments and maintain the bottle operation of the conveying, flaming, robotic and inspection systems on any IBM machine. -Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures. -Continuously improves the efficiency of the IBM production department by improving existing processes. -Exhibit leadership skills by directing activities of utilities and packers assigned to the group leader. -Responsible for the complete ownership of assigned machines and lines.
Qualifications: -Must have the interpersonal skills with the ability to deal positively with others in a team environment -Ability to gather information quickly, communicates to others, and reacts in a timely manner. -Able to respond in emergency situations with a cool head, and be able to direct to the appropriate person. -Must maintain ownership of responsibilities in the department and support the quality system process. -Must have a general mechanical ability. -Must be able to speak, write, and read effectively. -Must be computer literate. -Two (2) years of experience in plastic blow molding or equivalent on the job training. -High School diploma or equivalent. -Must be able to complete an IBM set up. -Must be able to carry approximately 50 lbs. for a distance of 100 ft twice a day on the average. -Must be able to stand on average 10 hours a day.
