RAM JACK is searching for an exceptional crew foreman in the Northern Virginia area to join our team. This addition to our team is a permanent position due to the growth we are experiencing.
RAM JACK has been helping homeowners and businesses with foundation problems for over forty years. Our patented stabilization process is virtually fail-proof when installed correctly. We manufacture our products at our Ada, Oklahoma facility using only American-made steel. Our sterling reputation in the foundation solutions industry is second to none.
The crew foreman oversees the daily construction activities of a work site and is responsible for the overall progress of the project. You will be scheduled to work as a member of the team of crew hands and be a leader for the team. You will be responsible for the delivery of equipment and materials for each project your crew team is assigned. You will also work to complete the project within the given timeframe and budget, resolve contract disputes, and arrange any necessary order changes. As the crew foreman, you are the project manager and responsible for the communication and satisfaction of the homeowner, the job, the financial results, the crew, the equipment, the truck, and the presentation of Ram Jack and the services. A large part of this position will involve dealing with customer service and the need to be a champion of ongoing communication, motivation of others, and coordination.
You will be responsible for specific geographical locations within the day-to-day field production operations, as well as, your site’s equipment and crew movement.
You will complete the necessary paperwork for each job, lead the conclusion for complex problems, and coordinate problem-solving for your crew.
You will enforce and report any quality control issues, handle any employee write-ups, and conduct safety toolbox training.
Check on all projects during the day or week as the landscape permits.
Coordinate workload of crews, prioritize job assignments, and generate records, reports, and activities of each job.
Manage all equipment breakdowns and needs as well as preventative maintenance schedules.
Make final project decisions and ensure all Ram Jack policies and procedures are in place.
Maintain company vehicle and equipment in a clean and responsible manner.
You must have construction experience, preferably a minimum of two years.
You must be self-motivated, a team player, and physically capable to handle the workload.
You must be able to take and give direction effectively to complete the task at hand.
You must be able to speak in a professional manner to customers, especially when reviewing the job plan and doing a final walk through.
You must be able to manage all aspects of the job, including the crew.
You must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
High school graduate, trade school, or equivalent
Chosen candidates will enter an extensive supervisor training program.
Benefits & Compensation:
This is a full-time opportunity with a benefits package to come after 90 days, along with, paid vacation and holidays. The crew leader will be paid on an hourly basis and have the opportunity for bonuses.
