This role will work with the FP&A Manager to provide support to operational business groups, as assigned, through information analyses (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget and prior year, budget, etc.), preparation of operational data/analyses for publication to various constituents throughout company (Management, Sales, Product Management, Operations, etc.) who rely on/benefit from the information to make informed business decisions. Primary responsibilities will include assisting the FP&A Manager and/or Director of FP&A and business team in the monthly business financial review, identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of operations performance.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities by reconciling actuals to forecast and researching variances
Assist in the preparation of monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget/forecast, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks and take advantage of the opportunities
Participate in the analysis, model and improve cost efficiencies, product pricing, variable contributions, and sales results in conjunction with the operating plan
Partner with Businesses, Shared Service, FP&A Manager and/or Director of FP&A in determining financial impact due to product terminations, new product roll out, etc. and prepare periodic forecasts to update management on projected results.
Work closely with FP&A Manager and/or Director of FP&A to analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets/forecasts.
Contribute to the preparation of annual budget, forecast updates for the business units assigned
Assemble, integrate, and synthesize data from multiple sources
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Perform all other duties as assigned and required by the FP&A Manager and Director of FP&A.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance, accounting or economics
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience at the Analyst/Sr. Analyst Level
Experience supporting a digital media organization, considered a plus

Strong experience in income statement analysis a plus
Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
