RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SALESFORCE OPERATIONS ANALYST

  • Empower the Questex sales team by working closely with the business heads, sales managers, sales representatives, marketing team, and accounting/finance on the implementation, training, maintenance, and optimization of sales operation functions, especially Salesforce.com CRM.
  • Stand up business processes and logistics for Questex salesforce
  • Monitor and drive sales organization's adoption with required standards for maintaining CRM data
  • Data management, importing, cleaning, and best practices
  • Drive sales analytics and appropriate management reporting and dashboard
  • Work closely on the lead-to-close process and the order-to-cash process
  • Management and analysis of sales pipeline
  • Support Salesforce.com integration with other systems including digital media workflow (AdBook) and cloud accounting (Intacct); assure efficiency and accuracy of opportunities, sales, insertion orders, changes, revenue recognition, invoicing, payments, commissions, and collections
  • Develop and implement salesperson onboarding and training

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years in sales support or operations, 10+ years of business/technical experience
  • Business partner who can integrate both business and technology excellence
  • Medium company experience required, with scaled, large company experience a plus
  • Experience in driving process improvements and implementing common process solutions
  • Salesforce.com:
    • detailed working knowledge and hands-on experience
    • professional certification as an administrator or advanced administrator
  • Experience with cloud accounting and integration with Salesforce.com (preferred: Intacct; but others such as NetSuite also helpful)
  • Strong cross-functional capabilities with sales, marketing, and accounting/finance
