     Senior Electrical Engineer-RFPyrexar Medical was formed to take on the fight against cancer. We purchased the Hyperthermia product line from BSD Medical in April 2015. Our plan is to support the existing BSD-500 and BSD-2000 customers, continue to make product improvements, support the growth of Thermal Oncology and spread the word about this amazing cancer therapy. Description:Experienced electrical engineer responsible for design, development, and test of RF delivery systems used in cancer-treating medical devices. Reports to•VP of EngineeringResponsibilities• Design, prototype, and test analog and digital electrical circuits• Support the design, prototype, and testing of RF circuits and supporting components• Specify system electrical components• Simulate concepts and validate performance of prototypes• Redesign existing equipment for improved performance and cost• Support domestic and international regulatory certifications• Drive technical discussions for engineering team towards better solutions for our customers• Work with R&D staff to develop next-generation technologies• Provide support to solve issues in the field and on the manufacturing line• Complete documentation according to company and department requirementsRequirements• Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications• Strong understanding and experience with RF principles• Medical device experience• Master's degree• Experience with RoHS, CE mark, IEC60601-1 3rd Ed. compliance• Experience as part of a start-up organization Supervisory Responsibility· This position has no supervisory responsibilitiesWork Environment· This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machinesPhysical Demands· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate clearly.
