In this role, Customer Service Representative (also known as General Care position), will provide technical assistance to customers with the setup of their security system, performing diagnosis while guiding customers with step-by step solutions. Solutions include, but are not limited to updating account information, taking payments, giving instructions on how to install/uninstall equipment, deleting/programming new or replacement equipment, power cycling, changing out batteries, troubleshooting.

Additional responsibilities include the ability to answer any questions or concern with regards to the security system as well as the ability to overcome objections and meet quotas. Support will be provided by clearly communicating technical assistance in a user-friendly, professional manner. Representatives will perform related work as required.

Requirements
  • Must have ability to work with patience and courtesy in customer relations
  • Must have ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Call Center experience for a minimum of 4 to 6 years
  • Ability to think quickly and logically to ensure expedient response to customer inquiries
  • Must have strong organization skills
  • Enter information into multiple screens while listening to information from customers
  • Technical background in the alarm industry preferred
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Having bilingual Spanish speaking ability is a plus
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft applications which include WORD, PowerPoint and Excel
