Central Ohio Farmers Co-op Inc. is seeking Part-Time Office Assistant to work at our Mt. Gilead location.
This part-time position includes record-keeping, grain accounting, reporting and marketing, processing billing, processing walk-in payments, working with prepaid contracts, answering phone and various clerical tasks. This person will be expected to conduct and maintain an accurate inventory system. The ideal person will be able to conduct multiple tasks at the same time while maintaining a pleasant, professional demeanor.
The hours for this position will be Monday-Friday four to five hours per day. There will be times during busy seasons, typically June, July, September and October that the schedule may fluctuate and require 40+ hours per week which can include weekends and holidays.
It is imperative that the Office Assistant maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork with the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.
Essential Office Assistant Duties:
· Good communication skills with customers and fellow employees
· Initiative to work independently and also in a team environment
· Adaptable, self-starter, dependable
· High school diploma or equivalent
