We are currently seeking an X Ray Technician for a fast paced clinical setting. This position will be responsible for the following job duties along with any other duties required by the Physician and/or Supervisor of the Clinic.
The following list depicts a sample of the job duties required of the X Ray Technician on the clinical and administrative side:
Shoot x-rays when needed
Check x-ray log for any pending x-rays
Log into appropriate radiology site. Label exams accordingly
Match any completed reports with the appropriate chart and place in appropriate area
At the end of each day compare log with Synapse to ensure all x-rays have been sent and highlighted
The following is a list of responsibilities that will be expected of the X-Ray Technician:
Providing the best possibly patient care
Successfully perform Drug Screens, Evidential Breath Tests, all vital signs, Pulmonary Functions Tests, Respirator Fit Tests, audiograms, venipuncture, injections, and x-rays.
Fill out all documents completely and perform all testing properly
Check that patient information is correct before beginning any testing
Checking all documents in the system as well as highlight and file them on a daily basis
Must have valid radiology license for the state of Texas. Previous office experience and/or x-ray technician experience highly preferred. Occupational Medical experience is a plus! Must be dependable and reliable. Teamwork is a MUST. Ability to multitask, pay attention to details, and follow instructions in a busy paced environment a MUST.
Must be able to pass a DISA Drug screen and Background check.
