Overview:

predictiveIT is currently seeking a career oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated IT professional to join our team. The Network Administrators primary responsibility is to be the outsourced IT for several small and medium sized businesses around the Tampa Bay metro area. The goal of this position is to ensure that the technology environments of your named accounts are operating in best practice standard. Furthermore, the Network Administrator will have monthly scheduled visits with their accounts to perform best practice reviews, basic installs and upgrades, escalated onsite support and regular systems maintenance.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

·Works independently but at the direction of the Field Operations Manager.

·Will develop and contribute to all client documentation, asset management and network diagrams.

·Will identify new technology recommendations and Professional Services opportunities and report them to the Field Operations Manager and provide presales support as needed.

·Ensure work is completed as per best practices.

·Responsible for participating in the “On-Call” rotation and conducting oneself per our “On-Call” policies and procedures.

·Responsible for identifying when requests should be billable rather than “block hours” and notifying the Field Operations Manager.

·Responsible to be our “Best Practices” champion for both our clients and internally.

·Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly metrics including but not limited to: Complete every on site, 120 hours of billable time monthly, complete best practice assessments monthly.

·Responsible for developing an “owner” mentality for the client environments that are assigned to them. This includes being knowledgeable of the client’s entire environment and ticket history.

·Creates “Statement of Work” for projects as needed.

·Will follow written statement of work, or update project tasks as directed. Will not vary from prescribed plan without written approval.

·Will keep stakeholders and the Field Operations Manager updated on status changes in project.

·Will not exceed a project's quoted time without approval of both the Field Operations Manager and the client main contact/representative.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College Degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • 3+ years consulting and / or customer management experience in the technology field.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with one or more of the following:

  • Managed IT Services
  • VMware and virtualization
  • Windows based server configuration and implementation (domain controller, DHCP, DNS and file servers)
  • Cisco switches, ASA and Meraki
  • Hosted / Cloud application
  • Managed Hosting
  • Infrastructure Services

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Industry Specific Technical certifications such as Cisco, VMware, Dell, etc..
  • Healthcare industry specific knowledge such as HIPPA, ect.
  • Experience speaking and presenting to C-level and management staff
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to create an effective work environment and help build team spirit
  • Ability to understand detailed processes and make improvements to processes
  • Easily builds rapport and trust with others
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional departments and work with multiple layers of management including executive level
  • Well organized and ability to multi-task
