Our capabilities include PWB Design/Design Support, PWB Manufacturing and Assembly. We have an immediate full time job opening for the position of EHS Coordinator with the following qualifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assure that the Company complies with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations
  • Serve as the company contact when government regulators are performing EHS compliance or inspection/audits
  • Handle all required Environmental Compliance documents including reports
  • Collect data and complete Self-Monitoring Reports for OCSD Class 1 permit, renew as necessary.
  • Complete monthly storm water inspections and annual report.
  • Manage Hazardous Waste, Manifests and Reports.
  • Maintain SCAQMD permits and ensure record keeping requirements are met.
  • Submit reports to the BOE as needed.
  • Update MSDSs/SDSs, control incoming materials to ensure all items onsite have current MSDS/SDS
  • Handle work related injury and take injured worker to the designated clinic or hospital
  • Handle injury/incident investigation with corrective/preventive action plans and complete the implementation
  • Schedule and conduct all safety trainings and new hire safety orientation
  • Conduct formal semi-annual safety audit, follow up action items, and complete the documentation
  • Conducts routine internal safety audits to insure day to day compliance of Company safety policies and procedure. Document findings and generate action item list and follow up until all items are complete
  • Update and maintain safety policies, program and procedures (SOP) and assure compliance
  • Maintain and update OSHA injury log

Skills/ Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability.

  • Must have knowledge of EHS regulations including but not limited to the following agencies: OSHA, EPA, DTSC, SCAQMD, OCSD, RWQCB, OC CUPA, OCFA, REACH. Experience and knowledge of chemicals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must maintain a high level of flexibility and be able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft office

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years (preferably 5 years) EHS Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Must be HAZOPER certified
  • OSHA Certification preferable but not required
