Pine Gate Renewables, LLC, a solar energy development company, is seeking to hire a motivated Procurement Associate. S/he will provide support to the Procurement Team to ensure all internal and external deliverables are provided professionally, punctually and in accordance with the Pine Gate standards and values. We are a growing company and this person will need to be able to wear many hats as needed to complete critical projects and tasks.
The Procurement Associate will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintains correspondence and construction documentation database.
Files equipment datasheets and maintains the latest version of each file.
Handles incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Receives/logs/expedites equipment and labor quotes and submittals.
Assists with new vendor/subcontractor pre-qualification forms.
Maintain insurance documentation for subcontractors.
Maintain and renew GC licensing as needed, research GC licensing requirements for new markets being considered, and obtain GC licensing for PGR’s qualifier when entering new markets.
Assists with obtaining lien waivers from vendors for construction draws.
Creates purchase orders for all active projects.
Maintain safety resolution log and file safety audits.
Assist Procurement management with the development of contracting strategies and processes that result in the best value for the Company
Manage relationships with vendors including but not limited to identifying new market entrants, supplier qualification, technical proposal review, and commercial and contractual negotiations
Work with engineering and other internal teams on request for proposals and evaluate pricing proposals and term sheets for equipment supply

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Exposure to the renewable energy industry is a plus
Three to five years’ experience working in an architect’s (or engineer’s) office, construction administration or construction contractor’s office or in a related field.
Prior construction accounting experience preferred
Experience in a transaction or project-based environment, preferably in the power or energy sector
Must be proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
